De gewone standaard rum. Goed om in cocktails te mixen of puur te drinken.

Anejo Especial nie je nič pre rumových fajnšmekrov a vychutnávačov rumu. V takejto cenovej relácii sa ani nič lepše nedá nájsť. Nemá ani extra význam hodnotiť senzorické vlastnosti, ja ho používam len ako súčasť miešaných nápojov, najlepší je v Cuba Libre a po piatich Cuba Libre sa dá piť aj sám. Ušetríte Colu.

This is just a standard rum. For an Australian, this shits on Bundaberg but it needs to be mixed.

Es un ron fuerte y ligero, sin cuerpo. Solo aceptable si lo usas para cubatas, pero no recomendable en mojitos.

I would rate it between the 3 and 7yrs old edition. It is ok and goes well for mixing but I dont have high regards for it as a sipping rum.

Inside the attractive bottle and label lies a rum that, To my taste, qualifies as a "well drink." A rather timid bouquet leads to an underwhelming palate dominated by the flavor of molasses. The finish is brief and raspy. I found it best as a base for a caipirissima, the rum version of a capirinha. The lime juice and oil blend well with this rum. In sum, ok as a bar bottle but there are better, more balanced and well-rounded choices out there.

Agreed, I've had better rums. But that doesn't necessarily make it a bad one. Nice to sip on a weeknight. I'll have to try the Fanta suggestion once. I would never thought of that myself...

Acidic, fruity smell. Flavour quite balanced but light, a bit dull. Not much to complain about but not the best either.
