This is a mixing rum. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's 100% a mixing rum. It's affordable and is perfect in a daiquiri or mojito. Sipped neat, there's a bit of citrus, banana, and pear, but not really a ton of character.....but keep in mind it's not made for neat sipping.

A favorite mixer for my Cuba Libre. Own character with al lot of spices. Not the most softest rum.

Really like this havana club 3 fpr mixed drinks. Not so much for cuba libre, but for mojito it is perfect!!

Have 2bottles of this

This is no rum for straight up drinks, but it has an acquired taste for the classic rum & coke.

Reply not my favourite. Was very disappointed. Cocktails only and wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

definitelly improvement from 1y anejo blanco, still from famous cuba, worst candidate to celebrate. For same or even cheaper price try something that has a taste. In same price range you will find Legendario, diplomatico, malecon, matusalem, any other rum gives you better alcoholic taste, plus, gives extra taste of sugar cane and vanilla smell or any other- making them unique, making you try some more. This is mass production with all the aspects it gets. Definitely not genuine.
