This is a mixing rum. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's 100% a mixing rum. It's affordable and is perfect in a daiquiri or mojito. Sipped neat, there's a bit of citrus, banana, and pear, but not really a ton of character.....but keep in mind it's not made for neat sipping.

This is a mixer--and just an average one, at that--nothing more. It has almost no flavor on its own, and certainly no aftertaste. I'm not even sure it would be among my first choices for a standard white rum to always keep on hand. Maybe with Coke only.

If u mix a cocktail, this one should be the basic step.Later you can advance to Diplomatico blanco and white Agricole beauties

I always buy this in favour of Bacardi superior for mixing mojito's and cuba libres. It of course lacks complexity but does not need it for it's purpose. When sipped neat it's mainly sweet without development and a particular aftertaste (just sweetness).

Since this one is normally sold for the same price as Bacardi White and Havana White, always choose this one, if you have the choice. It is smoother and has a better aroma.

Eye:
White and viscose.

Nose:
Some older wood and some kind of rubbery

I haven't tried it straight to the bottle, however it is the always favorite choice for Cuban Mojitos.

PIcked this up at the Duty free as a bargain , a bit more flavour than Barcardi's Superior but only for mixing with cola or in cocktails , cheap enough.

Well, what to say. It's an average rum, in taste as in price.

I prefer it in a Cuba Libre or just with cola.
It's not really tasty to drink straigth or on the rocks.
