Lekkere fruitige en zachte rum. Zeker zijn geld waard.

Tasty fruity and soft rum. Definitely worth the money.

I prefer spiced rums but I like this rum for its balanced taste.

Open the bottle and the banana smell is strong. Wasn't crazy about it at first but it grows on you. Worth a try.

Yes, you can taste the sweetness of bananas, but mixed with coke, it tastes like vanila pudding with strawberries. A bit sweet, but still smooth drinkable. Kind of enjoyed it.

I really enjoy the smoothness of Bumbu. The color and texture go well with and the difference of flavours that emerge as you inhale and exhale.

Too much banana flavor and sugar.
Otherwise soft rhum due to 35Β° of alcohol with other taste of caramel and spicies.

The smell of banana reminds me of banana candy, and the first taste confirm the smell but the burn is not enjoyable at all. It could a been a 8 if the burn would be more enjoyable. I do recommend trying it with ginger ale.

I agree with other reviewers as to the fruity flavors and as with Plantation Pineapple they are both in the same category. Again I would drink on ice or mix with soda water as a summer drink.

By conventional rum standards, it may be a little over sweet, but who cares, it's very tasty. Hefty banana essence and a sweet vanilla finish. For anyone seeking something different or at the very least sweeter, a definite recommendation. Carves it's own niche as a dessert rum.

When you open a bottle of Bumbu the first thing you will undoubtedly notice is the overwhelming scent of bananas and cream. You can smell it from nearly across an entire room on some of its first openings. Its taste follows up with more of the same. A whallop of banana sweetness. It is not too syrupy which is a bit suprising and does carry a bit of heat along with its sweetness as well. It finishes warm and sweet and goes done fairly smooth. If anything it is just slightly too sweet for my taste and that will limit how much of this rum I would care to consume. A fun and unique rum though, probably more of a liqueur than anything else with all the banana you will find. Fun to try but I will probably never have to much interest in keeping a bottle on stock.
