Sweet spices, enjoyable taste, what I would want a spiced rum to be really

This is candy in a bottle. Shame on you if you call this a Rum!! This is artificial garbage especially made for children. Excuse me if you feel offended!!!

And how does that get into rum?
Smooth, very sweet - good for cocktails but not a serious rum.

For me Bumbu is the best. But I'm just only a beginner. So maybe I'll change my opinion in future.
It also has a very good taste with Coke. Very vanilla. Nice!!

I was fooled by the marketing on this bottle. Catchy bottle theme and based off of the claim of original recipe created by 16th and 17th Century sailor's makes you want to try it.
I was really disappointed on the first sip. There is a lot of added sugar and does not taste like Rum.
This is better used for putting on vanilla ice cream or making desserts.
This is way overpriced and I felt robbed by pirate's. Nice pirate bottle. No treasure inside unfortunately.

Since trying this rum it is hard to try anything else. Just down right delicious and smooth as silk. Others on this site complain that you can taste the alcohol but to me when a rum is so smooth that you forget about the alcohol and just enjoy the flavour, you have found something great. Perhaps as I become more sophisticated I will get their point but for now I will keep enjoying this great rum

Sweet and spicy for those who donโ€™t appreciate the spicier, darker rums. This rum is candy and really fun to play with in cocktails. The cream variation is just as much fun and perhaps more appropriate. It certainly has one of the more appealing labels as well, but it goes to show that the old adage โ€œdonโ€™t judge a rum by its coverโ€ has some validity.

I actually really dislike this rum. It's one of the only rums I refuse to drink. It's just bad.

This rum is what got me hooked on rum. It gets a lot of hate for being fake but I personally love the sweetness and extra added flavors. I donโ€™t drink it nearly as often as I used to as my pallet has grown more refined, but I still always have a bottle on the shelf and enjoy it whenever I drink it.

For me, it had a note of coffee flavour in it.
It may have been just the fact that it's sweeter than a regular rum that makes it have a hint of coffee flavour, but it's still an amazing rum to sip.
