Barbados | Aged | 43% ABV | Pot and Column Still
Produced in Barbados by master distiller Richard Seale, the rums in Doorly XO have been aged a minimum of 6 years before finishing in Olorosco sherry casks. The second maturation in sherry casks is rare and gives Doorly XO its unique flavour.

I didn't like it more than I liked it, there was too much of a taste, something similar to furniture varnish.
Good buy compared to the price. Must be one of the best rum in this priceclass
This rum does not provide a lot of complexity a very simple rum with flavors of vanilla and caramel. It is a very easy to drink rum which I really like.
Oceniłbym go jako przeciętny. W tej cenie można dostać coś lepszego np. Plantation. Jednak to moja subiektywna opinia gdyż wolę rumy lekko słodkawe niż cierpkie. 6/10
For a barbados rum I thought it would have more flavor. It sounds great, but really just doesn't come through. :/ More like a gold.
I am not sure about this rum. For me, the aftertaste is too stingy and dominant and generally the flavor is not very complex. But I hear this rum has no (?) added sugar and other stuff. Still, I can not enjoy it as much as I would like to.
Ok a know a fair few people that absoulutely love this rum but for the 25-30 bracket i can think of a good few id rather to be honest. It is a good rum dont get me rum but a couple of mates were raving about this to me n when i tried it i was like 'huh, yeah thats ALRIGHT...' Maybe it had been hyped up too much before? I dont know but you could still sip it over ice with a kind of light buttery, toffee finish.
Lovely color. Rather thin in the mouth. Quite dry. Starts peppery, developing a faint burn. Reminiscent of some California brandies, only not as sweet. A decent potion but my palate prefers others at this price.
Make no mistake this is a nice rum. However with the exclusive "XO" label it left me wanting a little more (Personally next time I will go back to the 12yr old). As a sipping rum I did not find it quite smooth enough and much preferred the complex flavor when mixed (Ginger Ale). A great looking bottle worth having in your liquor cabinet if only to show the wide difference that can be achieved by master rum makers.
It has that distinctive light and fruity Bajan nose. .
"It’s nicely balanced and subtle on the nose. The rum is initially quite sweet with notes of toffee, banana, a little orange and citrusy lemon/lime. The finish is long and quite spicy with a hint of oak."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

assez doux et fruité, un basique pas si déplaisant mais je ne le reprendrai pas.
