Diplomatico Reserva rum is distilled from molasses using both copper pot and column stills. The rum is then aged in small oak casks for between 2 and 8 years before blending and bottling.
the Diplomatico distillery is located on the northern slopes of the Andes mountains in Venezuela. The area has a rich rum history dating to 1896,

En og samme rom, bare i hver sin flaske. Fik denne for 150 kr hos Nielsens Discount i tyskland. Glæder mig til at sammen ligne den med store broderen Diplomatico Extra Reserva som har et et fantastisk godt ry!
Nærmere beskrivelse ang. smag mere kommer hurtigts muligt.

assez fort. tout comme le "anejo" je le préfère allongé,
Nice entry point for Rum tasters. If you have the choice beetween the RE and this one go for the Exclusiva. Still tasty and sugary but stronger and less vanilla flavors which you can find in the RE.

this run is a great starting point for people trying to get in to the sipping rum world. I think for the price you are not going to find much better.

denne rom syntes jeg sjovt nok, ryger lettere ned end deres reserva exclusiva model.
syntes det er en rigtig lækker rom for få penge.

This rum is very smooth and works very well in Coke Zero. I could enjoy this as a sipping rum in a pinch but rather have it in Coke Zero. Just one step below Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva. Well...maybe HALF a step. I love the fragrance in the bottle. Sweet and woodsy with a caramel odor. Nice sweetness with vanilla and caramel lingering on the tongue. A very mild burn which fades into a nice aftertaste. Definitely one to add in anyone's cabinet.
