Holds the essence of the cane sugar more than some molasses rums, smooth and easy, a lovely example of agricole. Well rounded

Un rhum très aromatique Très sucré... trop ! Avec une longue persistance en bouche. on retrouve dans le désordre : tabac, cuir, cognac, sucre-mélasse...et bien plus encore.

A very aromatic rum Too sweet ... too ! With a long aftertaste. found : tobacco, leather, cognac, sugar-molasses ... and more.

As others have stated this was their 'gateway' rum, the one that got them hooked. For me it was even more than that it was the start of my general drinking straight spirit phase. Rums, Whisk(e)y, bourbon, vodka and others followed. But I digress. This is good stuff especially for the price. Now a year or so later I definitely find it a bit to sweet however its nice to have a dessert treat now and then and this is it. Rich complex and very easy drinking. Slipped down my list of favorites but I always have a bottle in my cabinet and recommend it to everyone as the first good sipping rum they should try.

Tout le monde le connait ! Rhum doux, gourmand et très facile à boire. Le rhum idéal pour débuter et convertir les réticents. Vanille, caramel, peu de bois, léger et suave. Un classique.

Had high expectations for this one, but it didn't quite live up to it.
Still a decent sweetend rum, but not as smooth and complex as I was hoping.
I'm not a fan of raisins at all and unfortunatrly they are a dominant flavour in this rum, which for me lowers the score significantly as it makes me use this as a mixer.
However for its price its good value if you don't mind the raisins and sugar.

Tak tenhle rum má perfektní poměr cena - výkon. A když se k němu podává čokoláda přímo připravená k tomuto účelu, tak je to božské.

This is one of my all time favorites that inspired my passion for rum. It's hard to beat the price-quality on this one as it gives you so much joy. Must have!

So smooth and easy to drink, slight warmish after it goes down, with a Carmel taste along with a .mixture of spices. Sweet but not over powering on the sweetness, e Pugh to allow the other flavours to come out.
