Tough we have quite a simple rum with vanilla and lots of sugar, DIPLO RE remains quite a good product with gentle spice and tobaco finish (medium long).

Great overall rum, amazing sipping, maybe a little too sweet. Good value for money, HOWEVER I believe the recipe has been changed slightly. Must taste for any rum connoisseur.

This rum has the smell and initial taste of ripe bananas. Beyond that it is powerful with good bite. Similar to Dictador 20, but with the banana taste. Just a tiny bit too sweet for my daily rum, but definitely something I can sip every once in a while. If you do not like rums that are too sweet, just add an ice cube and it'll open up beautifully.

Dark colour, strong body with notes of caramel, vanilla, fruits and nuts.

It's a standard continued in my rum cubbard. Must have! Very enjoyable - with and without ice..

After reading the great reviews on this site, I decided to try it. Ratings were spot on. This is the perfect rum to initiate friends to rum sipping. It is extra sugary and crafted to please the masses. After tasting many more rums, when I revisit this one, I find it a little simple and definitely overpriced (65$). However, I will always keep a bottle to convert friends who never tasted rum.

This is my everyday sipper. Sweet, vanilla flavour, which will (and does) appeal to the masses. Great value for money.
