This has all the characteristic funk of a Jamaican overproof plus a little burn. I just with it had a fuller mouth feel and more fruity notes.

I have to compare this to Wray and Nephew White Overproof. And I may be biased, since I had the W&N first, so this does not have the added sensation of a new discovery quite as much as the W&N had.
It is very similar to other Jamaican white overproofs and this is good, typical of the style. I find it very hot in the mouth, more so than other overproofs. Since I do not normally drink OP rums straight, that is no problem. About half-and-half with water it behaves reasonably well, but still bites. Which is fine. It has a lot of heat and that is a feature, not a problem - one just has to take it into account.
The nose aroma is funk, gasonline, lighter gas, banana, glue, mango, rice glue ("Reisleim" in German - white glue made from rice), arrak, cookie dough. And a ton of other things. It is a bit sweet and the alcohol is well masked.
Not so in the mouth. As stated above, the alcoholic burn is quite up-front, plus there seems to be something else that adds to the burn. Taste is sweetish, very funky, glue, banana, some earthy notes, fruits, pineapple, mango. The finish is quite long and faints into a fruity, funky and rice glue-ish taste that lingers forever.

With only water added, I did not enjoy it as much as I did enjoy the W&N. With pineapple juice and a slice of lemon, Rum Fire shines for me.
Have to try it on the rocks.

Very much recommended.

Bottle purchased at Total Wine. Clear. Surprisingly easy to inhale. Aroma complicated with biscuit, birch. Palate ought to be hotter and more painful than it is. Toasted walnuts. Roasted flavors. Has an agricole- like mimetic. This ought to be a fantastic overproof mixer.

The nose resembles somehow clairin, fruity and herbal.
The taste is strong rotten fruits in a good way. I can't wait to try this in a cocktail.

This truly is a great rum. The aroma is absolutely intoxicating and smells of bananas, and other fermented fruits. The taste is also great although it is definitely a hot rum alcohol wise. Overall, a great buy though.

Mange gode smagsnuancer. Eftersmagen er noget skarp. 63 %.

In any decent bar. Typical hampden nose. Very intense and only 30 EUR for 70 cl.

Very strong rum. Good smell, but it didn't suit me. The taste is bad and strong for me. For me this rum is not
