Clement VSOP 4-Year

Viel Vanille, Mokka und gut Pfeffer in der Nase. Weich im Gaumen und sehr ausbalanciert. Für den Preis ein ausgesprochen guter Rhum Agricole.

A fruity smell, a little bit alcoholic, some glue. The taste is fruity, slightly sweet with a medium long finish.

Ve vůni jasná cukrová třina a ovoce. Barva jantarová. Chuť klasická agricole takže třtina, sušené ovoce. Závěr docela nevýrazný a krátký.

On the nose: cognac / nougat, fresh herbs, sugar cane, fresh with almonds, caramel, subtle tropical fruits. On the palate: herbs, nougat, sugar cane, subtle tropical fruits (pineapple), spices, slightly tingling. In the finish: spices, herbs, subtle sugar cane, cognac / nougat.

In der Nase: Cognac/Nougat, frische Kräuter, Zuckerrohr, frisch mit Mandeln, Karamell, dezent tropische Früchte. Am Gaumen: Kräuter, Nougat, Zuckerrohr, dezent tropische Früchte (Ananas), Gewürze, leicht prickelnd. Im Abgang: Gewürze, Kräuter, dezent Zuckerrohr, Cognac/Nougat.

My first Rhum Agricole, not bad . Wasn’t as smooth as I’m used to . Toned down with a bit of water .

Smooth but not like most other runs I’ve had, had a whiskey like taste without the burn. It is not a sweet rum and had a dry flavor profile. Definitely stands out as different. Lighy colored, mellow, balanced, easy drinking, slight harsh after taste (whiskey like).

An great agricole rum: dry, grassy and some slight "funk". Partly bordering on a cognac bur has some smokeyness as well.

I did not have much experience with Agricole rums, maybe I expected too much from this Agricole rum, but it was a total disappointment. This is just not for me.
