Chairman’s Reserve Spiced

I'm not a fan of spiced rums, but this one isn't bad. However, it's a bit too sweet for my taste. The nose carries notes of caramel and cinnamon, with the palate emphasizing cinnamon. The aftertaste is pleasant as the initial sweetness fades, giving way to a lingering vanilla flavor.

So tasty! Yes, a lot of orange up front, but the cinnamon is there in the back, along with clove and a hint of vanilla. Sweet but not cloying. Easy to drink, possibly addictive. I love it. Score is considering this is a spiced rum. This will be a permanent addition to my collection, at least during the holidays.

Good spice rum, cinnamon, clove, greatness. A little too sweet but I have a sweet tooth 😉

Wannabe don papa, nose is pepsi, taste is super sweet and syrupy, viscosity is thick finish is cinnamony (note I love st lucia rum, just not this one)

I first met this rum at a self service Wedding Bar, and fell in love. Amazing with Cranberry/CranApple & ice. Quality for the price hands down and solid selection for anyone to try entering into spice rums.

Just as it is advertised. This is a fantastic spiced rum that is not too sweet. Can taste the rum - the orange peels and Christmas spices enhance it perfectly. Great neat and mixed with coke or ginger beer.

It is spiced, it is cheap, but hell - it is good stuff. Reminds me of a Christmas - that type of spice mix can be felt (orange, cinnamon, etc.). As a spiced rum - I think it is insanely good.

Appearance: amber
Aroma: Clementine oranges
Flavor: gaaaahhhhhh this tastes to me like orange triaminic cough syrup that has been laced with white pepper and garnished with a wedge or red bell pepper. NO NO NO.
I am guessing that one in 37 people will also have this response.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 8-27-23. Pours a dark amber to light brown color. Aroma is citrusy with lime orange and cardamom. Huge sweet orange flavor. Cinnamon out the wazoo. Not as sickeningly sweet as a shrub, but nicely balanced. I like.

Just about on par with kraken spiced, but not quite as good as the kraken spiced coffee
