atat in gust cat si in miros se simt caramelul cacaua si vanilia
in plus pentru gust , ceea ce m a si convins ca e de 10, este felul cum se simte invechirea , superbitate ....

este un rom dulceag iar alcoolul este imbinat minunat cu aromele, cum am simtit la toate romurile forsquare de pana acum , 43 ce grade fiind dupa mine nivelul de alcoolizare optim; alcoolul se stinge lent insotind aromele , in special caramelul, destul de mult timp si in postgust

o alta intalnire incantatoare cu forsquer

EN: After drinking the XO version for 6 years and that foursquare premise, I expected it to be with accent on fruits in taste, but is is much more inclined to the classic taste of rum, and what a rum ..

both in taste and in smell you can feel cocoa caramel some ripe fruits and vanilla
in addition in the taste, what convinced me that it is a 10, is the way aging feels, superb ....

it is a sweet rum and the alcohol is wonderfully combined with the aromas, as I have felt in all the forsquare rums so far, 43 degrees being the optimal level for alcohol in my opinion; the alcohol goes out slowly, accompanying the aromas, especially the caramel, for quite some time in the aftertaste

Very smooth tastefull rum from Barbados!
Watched the ratings on here before buying and realy agree with a big 8!

Edit to a strong 9 after half a bottle later ( No not in 1 go lol) get it if you can you will not be dissapointed! If you are can may always send your bottle to me :)

Cocoa caramel aroma, full body taste, decent sweetness in the tail

Velmi jemný s velmi hravým závěrem.Sudy po Madeiře a portskem se velmi zajímavě projevují v chuti. Nejlepší z tria xo, 8 a 12.

I finally made it to a Total Wine to track this down (8 hour drive for me). I am pleased with the quality of this rum for the price. I find myself gravitating to Bajan rum and this fits the bill. I really need to move to Barbados.

Nice and not to complicated. Best consumed under palm trees in the early afternoon

A little slow to get out of the glass on the nose. But once you get a taste it's absolutely amazing. Toffee, vanilla, light coconut, some oak and a nice buttery texture. As my introduction to Barbadan rum, I must call this love at first taste. Can't wait to get a hold of the more powerful Foursquare bottlings...

Blender is doing a fine job not to sweet A very good RUM

I mainly drink Rum neat or over ice
Bourbon and Madeira Cask 90 /10 43% ABV. I would choose this any day of the week !

Only $25, not very complexed but very tasty, smooth, the taste profile reminds on Appleton 12 rare blend without the spiciness. Typical rum flavors(molasses, citrus fruit, vanilla). The rum is the best bargain rum ive ever encountered in the U.S. Definitely add this to your pandemic rum survival kit.

Again I read a lot of reviews so when I saw it on sale at Total Wine I pounced. I like sweeter rums, this is drier but was very smooth with little burn. It wouldn’t be my go to, but if you like drier rums and don’t want to spend the extra $ for Brugal 1888, this one is for you.
