Might as well be drinking spring water cause that's what it taste like. No caracter at all. Just another boring rum. I just don't see what all the hype is about. Maybe I got a boring bottle? Sorry but the 8yr old blows this away. This has nothing at all. Just your basic no flavor rum. Probably a great mixer but I don't go there. It got 4 because there's no added sugar but that's it guys. Stick with the 8yr old it a good bang compared to this awful 12 yrs old rum flavored water.

Not bad, but still nothing special about this rum.
I was expecting something better in after-taste of this rum and don't feel like there is something!
About the price, I think it should be a bit lower.

Smooth and very easy to sip. The typical flavour profile of Foursquare with the right amount of wood. This is smoother and easier to sip than R.L Seale 10 but lacks the depth and flavour only just. Let it breathe for a few minutes and you will be highly rewarded. Highly recommend and will try to always have on hand.

A lot of wood and barrel notes round out the harsher flavors.

You'll get some coconut and fruit notes.

I recommend neat or over Ice. OR make yourself a Corn N' Oil cocktail if you have some good Falernum.

Lots of (complex) taste for the value.very round and well balanced, with a bit of caramel and wood.

I always have about 30 diffrent bottles of rum in my cabinet. I have liked the other Doorly's I have tried and like the fact that Barbados does not allow adulteration. This was outstanding for the cost. While I have had better sipping rums, not at this price. It has a wonderful aroma of freshly opened brown sugar and the taste is smooth with all the tropical notes you expect from a rum. It is my new everyday sipping rum. So thankful I found it.

My second sample was Doorly’s 12 year (not available in Canada) which also sells for the ridiculous price of 26.99 at Total Wines (USA). This unadulterated rum is very good although I prefer the 8 yr version. Nevertheless another good rum from Foursquare Distillery.

Great rum, taste, age, punch. Just go and have a drink for yourself, you'll see :)

Strong dark fruit taste, not sweet, just enough.
Might be my new regular buy rum.
