Boring rum, which needs to be put in a mixer and drunk when u have nothing left in cupboard.

Real rum is supposed to be drunk pure. But you should really skip this one because it will give you first-class heartburn.

It doesn't really smell like certain scents. You smell little sweetness. Tastes a bit like cinnamon. At first you taste Molasses and then a bitter taste. It's a bit of a hot taste and then it's just rancid and chemical.

For mixing, it's a lot better. Better than Bacardi Blanc. The only positive is that no sugar has been added but no doubt chemical flavour enhancers will have been added.

Premium rums in South Africa are very hard to come by so Cappies and Coke was our drink . He scores an eight from me because he was there during my sea going career and some of my wildest adventures . Nothing beat a Cappies sitting around a fire with good mates after a day of adventuring. Thanks for the good times Captain !

Whenever I'm really broke this is what I bring home because I know it's reliable without being outstanding. If you're new to dark / black rums this would be an excellent gateway drink whilst not breaking the bank. The taste is quite complex with plenty of spice but lacks the refinement that one expects in a more prestigious product. A little blob of honey at the bottom of your glass makes an appreciable difference if you prefer things a little sweeter.

Only real use is to use as a cheap mixer. Although there's more solid choices in the same price range.

Bad taste, never drink this neat, even in a cocktail I don't like it

A good mixer, hardly consumable as a sipper, but I still have some (un)memorable nights with it. Great way to get wasted at parties where people are not pretentious and quality is not a must.

Full flavor, strong body and a smooth taste of caramel. Great with Coca Cola.

Sterk, niet zo zoet maar toch de moeite om eens te drinken. Ik zou geen extra fles houden ter bewaring

It is OK with coke or with a few drops of angustura cocoa bitter and some sugar syrope added. But alone I do not like it.

No point torturing oneself with sipping - just pour in coke. No aroma, pretty bad aftertaste.
