Puerto Rico | Dark | 40% ABV
Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.
Since 2011, the Captain Morgan rum brand has used the slogan ""To life, love and loot."

Colour: dark almost obscure
Taste: best one of the by now tried Captain Morgan's. Still alcoholic...can be drinker pure but there are far better rums for that
Smell: alcoholic
Rating: I like it with coke...one of the better "cheap" rums out there...can be drank pure, but why should you ;)

imagine a scenario. You are in a duty free shop and need some one litre bottle of fast mood riser. And yes, price is thing you are thinking of this moment.
Captain Morgan Dark will fit your needs.
Do not forget to buy some coke and limes, when you ll arrive into the destination :)
Very good rum to mix with cola. Thats all. Not interesting to drink alone.

Another rum that needs to be mixed with something. Not worth the effort of opening the bottle.

An okay choice together with a cola, however it can get too sweet if you get a couple of drinks with it, compared to the normal Captain Morgan, otherwise it has a good tasted in mixed drinks.

In the average average city there's and average average bar and in the average average bar there's an average average rum and that average average rum is Captain Morgan.
I think it's pretty average.

I am not very fond of dark rums. This one is quite good, but if you need to drink Captain Morgan, you should definitely try Gold one :)

Well, maybe I'm being generous with a 4 rating. But this is the rum that got me started on rum, so I guess I have some fond memories. It was, at the time, a tasty mixer with coke. Now, it's an overly-sweet mixer to use in desperation.

podobný osud jak předešlý morgan spiced. ale je pravda, že tento je výraznější.

Used to drink this all the time with diet coke because it was the only dark rum available in my local bars. Now some bars have Havana 3 which I much prefer to drink.
