Puerto Rico | Dark | 40% ABV
Captain Morgan Dark rum is a blend of five different rums from Jamaica, Guyana and Barbados. The blended rum mixture is distilled in a two part process using both pot stills and continuous stills and then aged for 2 to 7 years in charred oak barrels.
Since 2011, the Captain Morgan rum brand has used the slogan ""To life, love and loot."

Stick coke or pepsi in it. Maybe add a bit of lime to disguise how very mediocre it is. Hate yourself in the morning.

Same as the gold spiced they both have very rough aftertaste neat but this also goes well with mixers. Good with cola. Not one I will buy again
The rum has a sharp and unpleasant taste. A very bright alcohol component that is difficult to drown even in a cocktail.

Needs to be mixed with coke, 7up, sprite, Pepsi or some such mix.

I prefer it to bacardi especially it if u can I find it at a lower price
Its the absolute basic dark mixing rum for me as far as quality goes but far better than its market competitors at its price range.

My drink of choice, with Coke Zero as mixer. Not to heavy and no hangover

Used to drink this all the time with diet coke because it was the only dark rum available in my local bars. Now some bars have Havana 3 which I much prefer to drink.
