Good base for tasty Caipirinhas. Nothing to drink neat, only for mixing, though.
Never drink this alone. But used for your caipirinha it is no too bad.
I’ve been told by a native that cachaca does get sipped in Brazil. Just not this one which apparently costs just a few bucks down there. Certainly nothing subtle about the taste of this. Didn’t hate it though.
Its not drinkable. I can hardly discribe the burning smell and taste. Gasoline or clinical spiritus? In Germany Pitu is generally synonymous to Cachaca. Thus most of my friends didn't like Caipirinha until they drunk some at my place with Cachaca other then Pitu.
Wasn’t wowwed by it. Had it in caipirinhas and to be honest I absolutely smashed through the bottle though. If someone bought me a bottle I’d be happy. But plenty more to try before I’d buy that again
This has notes of earthy dryness akin to a rhum agricole, but also has harsh gasoline notes that come through loud and clear neat. Mixed its palatable and does an okay job.
Samotné nepitelné, do caipirinhy v pohodě. Vůně alá agricole, ale chuť hodně prudká, ostrá, a lihová. Jediná cachaca co sem měl a očividně se dělají i o hodně lepší.
This is the first Cachaça I had and I almost never had Cachaça again. It's not horrible for what it is (straight out the vat,) but it's not good either. I really thought Cachaça was not for me because of this product and while I was right, there is an upgrade from here. Try Leblon, it's far superior.
There some vegetal qualities. Make no mistake, this can only be used in caipirinhas, and even then it's not super great. Search out other cachacas.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Strong, but chemical cane juice character and little else to offer.
Nose is grassy, a bit rubbery but no spice or fruit that promises anything beyond a chemical bath that at least brought happy memories from experiencing darkroom work.
Unfortunately the palate and aftertaste is pretty much identical apart from a faint, grassy impression of cane juice. A caipirinha based on Pitù needs serious amounts of sugar before any flavours reminiscent of fruit or spice is revealed.
