La Hechicera rum has been produced by the The Riasco family for the past two decades. They're the only family-run Rum distillery in Colombia. The rum derives its name from the Spanish word “Hechicera” which translates to “enchantress”.

Little bit of a burn, but a decent rum. Definitely has a coffee taste, but overall a decent flavor. The burn is why I rated it a 6, otherwise it would be a seven.

Came across this in Colombia and for the price it is an awesome value. Super flavorful and would definitely recommend.

Excellent smell and taste despite the small amount of sugar. I was very surprised. Well rounded/balanced caramel flavor.

It should be a cocktail rum, though if you add some ice it carves the edges down and is drinkable neat. Strong chocolate nose and harsh after-burn .

En nariz agradable olor a roble, se notan los 40 grados pero no quema al pasar, se aprecia caramelo no tiene nada de complegidad.....otras cosas como vainilla eucalipto y demas.......si sigo con la botella las encuentro, no me parece para mezclar con refrescos tampoco es para ponerle un altar...... No creo que repita me parece caro 27€ por 70 ml. En mi opinión prefiero otros

Dry lightly sweet rum with notes of oak, leather and dark chocolate. Bitter finish. For me it's alright but too dry for my girlfriend. Nice presentation, but not worth for more than 30eur I bought it for.

The taste of La Hechicera is what you spect of a rum when you buy it.. sweet, indulgent, nice aftertaste, and for a very fare price

Sugar: Estimated at 5 GPL. I found this to have a strong alcohol aroma and taste that subsides and gives way to coffee, burnt chocolate and wood. I tried this rum a dozen times before I could decide on what to rate it at and what it's primary tastes were. Overall it's a bit rough but once you get past the unmasked alcohol aroma and taste, it's okay. Not great but okay.
