Calendrier de l'avent 2021, jour 17. Beau nez, belle saveur en bouche avec une belle longue finale.

Smells of maple syrup with a hint of molasses. Tastes sweet which is great for me. Hint of vanilla and the alcohol is overproof but doesnt taste like it. I am pleasantly surprised by this rum. Would buy a bottle again.

Nice color, good taste, and nice finish, good drinking for night. 6/10, average

Not very sweet, strong 48%, with a bitter end. This rum has charisma, but has nothing that would interest me in long term.

This rum is difficult to categorize. My first thought was whisky mixed with rum. It smells a little bit sweet, but the 48% vol. are too strong for the palate. When adding a drop of water, the whisky taste developes. Not my cup of rum.

Exotic fruit and vanilla aroma, vanilla and hazelnut in body, short afterburn.

Bernsteinfarben im Glas.
In der Nase sehr schwach. Ein wenig nach vor einem Tag abgebranntem Feuerwerk und einem Karamell Wickelpapier.
Am Gaumen stark und Nichts. Trinksprit mit ein bisschen Karamell und Holz.
Im Abgang nur ein Brennen und ein angesengtes Eichenlaub.
Vielleicht gibt's ja wirklich Freunde des Spanischen Rum, ich bin keiner davon. Für Mutige und Toreros.

Amber in the glass.
Very faint on the nose. A little like fireworks burned a day ago and a caramel wrapping paper.
On the palate strong and nothing. Drinking spirit with a bit of caramel and wood.
In the finish just a burn and a singed oak leaf.
Maybe there really are friends of Spanish rum, I'm not one of them. For the brave and the toreros.
