This one fights for the title of my favorite rum. Fairly smooth, good taste. The bourbon taste from being aged in the distillery's old barrels definitely shines through. I'm probably biased however, as I love the distillery who made it, Black Button in Rochester, NY.

A local distiller intro'd a rum aged in bourbon barrels right in my hometown of Rochester NY! Wasn't expecting much based on Rochester's proximity to the Caribbean and pretty much got it. Does not have the sweetness I prefer, but cmon, it's from upstate NY. Good as a mixer, dark & stormy, or whatever you prefer. Worth a try for the locals
