La Hechicera Extra Añejo de Colombia Solera 21 Reserva Familiar 21-Year

Liked it at first when I adored the Dictador XO Insolent. This has a less pronounced coffee taste and is considerably less sweet. But retried it some time later and it just doesn’t go down well with me anymore. Great bottle design though!

I would say the taste is above average, smooth, less aromatic. However couldn't find any special fi ish in the taste.

Smooth, no bad aftertaste, it's not too sweet. I like it. On the level with diplomatico reserva.

Its ok considering price, but that's about it. Funny thing is that it's very aromatic on the nose, but it's nothing like that on taste. Taste is quite one dimensional, alcoholic and kinda harsh unless it's on the rocks.
It's not bad, but it's not something that i would enjoy.

Barely any nose, watery taste initially then a peppery burn maybe decent in a cocktail

I got it as a gift, otherwise I probably wouldn't have tried it, as I prefer sweeter rums. A very dry rum, it smells beautiful, it would go well for a longer drink. Nothing for women and beginners :-)

Dostal jsem ho darem, jinak bych to asi nevyzkoušel, jelikož jsem na sladší rumy. Hodně suchý rum, překrásně voní, na delší pití by ušel. Nádherně zdobená láhev, plus pečeť. Pro zkušené rumaře zajímavý doplněk baru.

It's a really great sipping rum. I have to resist going back to it, since it's not easy to get
