Ron Colon Salvadoreno Dark Aged

Docela překvapil a chutnal. Síla a chuť úplně v pohodě.

This has a good combination of fruit and funk to it.

This aged rum has a very clear color, not as dark like most aged rums
despites that it has a very nice taste to it.
Also nice bottle and label designs

Tropical fruit and raisins aroma, spicy, tropical and candidfruits, raisins, chocolate and almond body, warming end

Не смотря на то, что Ямайки в данном бленда 30%, она составляет основу вкусоароматики данного напитка. Типичные для неё переспелые бананы, кожа и лёгкий налёт шоколада. Не смотря на малый возраст он хорош!

Nose is meh, maybe inhibited by high abv. Palate is unique, very nice, with a bit of funk. Finish is alcohol but not as harsh as expected. Worthy of the rum collection, but not an every day rum. IMHO

Somewhat aggressive on the nose. The taste is similar to the red and green label, just without the coffee. Nice, smooth finish that lingers. Overall it’s ok but not one I’ll keep on hand.

A little bit of a caramel and brown sugar on the nose, followed by a hot burn on the palate. Best used for cocktails.

Vôňa veľmi intenzívna pripomínajúca skôr agricole rumy. Chuť výrazne tropické ovocie, funky Jamaica, tráva a tých 55,5% celkom cítiť. Toto zatiaľ nie je čo by som v rumoch vyhľadával. Skúsim opäť za rok a možno zmením názor.

If you like higher alcohol rums, this is just OK. I personally don't care for the extra burn so this isn't for me. The best rum in the quarterly RR tasting was the Mount Gay by far. Please send more like that.
