Not nearly as smooth as I prefer. The description from the manufacturer is quite appealing: hints of pineapple, vanilla and banana. Although it is tropical tasting, the burn is not worth it. I don't find it sugary as some claim. For the money it's decent. Probably est served as a mixed drink.

Kasama small batch is incredibly aromatic. Even in the bottle you are slapped with tropical notes of pineapple, and toasted coconut.
In the glass these scents open up even more.
It palates like water, surprisingly smooth given the gold color and younger age. From the initial almost tasteless gulp it evolves into heavy notes of piña and coconut, some banana if you look for it. Definitely different from the flavor I'm used to out of an aged rum but in no way is this a bad thing.
It does have a mighty sweet finish, but throw it over large mold ice and it evens it out. While it might not be a go to, I was quite impressed with Kasama.

Lady from duty free shop recomand it to me, its not spiced, but pineapple flavour is strong. Not my taste...
