Rumbullion Spiced

Spiced rum, I can taste cardamom and cinnamon. A bit orange too with rum background. May go with a mixer, but not a great one neat (for me!).

My last review was yesterday in Belgium about Saint James, which was not good. In fact we left it at the hotel. Maybe housekeeping finished it. Anyway, hit the supermarket today in Luxembourg and grabbed this rum bullion for about 25 euros. Great choice. Sweet and citrus with a hint of spice. Really a bit different to all other rums I have tried perhaps because of the citrus taste that was more prevalent for me. Bit of a burn as just over 43% alcohol but not offensive. Absolutely worth trying.

Well, another black spiced rum, much alike Kraken or Captain Morgan Black Spiced. Great for coke, but that's it.

At the first sip, I thought, this is unusual. Maybe because of the powerful spicy taste. Especially if you are used to captain morning. But after a few sips I started to like it more and more. And with cola it is really delicious!

Very easy to drink straight, intense flavour would be a 10 but quite sweet

First heard of this Rum from Rum Ratings and was very curious to try it. Love the old school presentation and the rum itself did not disappoint.
I tried Rumbullion nest over ice and was immediately struck by the spicyness of the first sip. If left to sit for about 5 minutes after poring you get strong vanilla notes along with the rest of the spices. Very smooth and easy to drink by itself makes a great sipping rum. Now one of my favourites and defiantly recommend.

Loads of nutmeg, pepper, orange peel and soft caramel. Not bad at all for a spiced rum.

Good blend of spices, none of which overpower. Most rums overdo the vanilla but this rum finds a balance of cardamon and clove to offset. Ive never been a big fan of spiced but this rum is delicious! Sweet to boot. Probably the highest rated spiced rum Ive rated. Definite recommendation.

Amazing full intense flavour. Exactly my kind of thing.

Got a bottle of this for Christmas 2020 and tbh its been slow going I have about 1/4 of the bottle left, I always seem to have another rum available before i reach for this one which for me says everything I need to know, heavy on the vanilla, cinnamon and cloves, for me its just a bit meh.
