This is a great rum with notes of chocolate, caramel, barrel spices, and melon. This is drier than the other 2 Facundos.

This is a great aged rum on all counts except price. I almost lowered rating on value, a lot of cost goes into presentation leather wrapped box expensive bottle. Smooth dark very easy to drink not too sweet, not as complex as Foursquare rums but still a solid contender in the over $100 bottle arena.

Great taste, cannot deny that. Expensive as well, canโ€™t deny that either. But the taste is very smooth. The nose is not too much, it maybe lacks a bit of power. But the taste is very smooth. No afterburner thatโ€™s bothering in any way. Tones of chocolate and leather. Tasted it with a Diplomatico ambassador and Cubay XO on the side and this one came out on top!

Being a "beverage nerd," a wannabe "rum aficionado" and a huge Bacardi fan (because of their history), I purchased all four of the Bacardi Facundo releases (Neo, Eximo, Exquisito & Paraiso). I mean, who knows rum like the Bacardi Family? When I read the story behind this release, I saved up the "dough" and purchased online. This rum is exceptional, the "best of the best" in my amateur opinion. I shared my Paraiso with a neighbor for a celebratory toast and everyone was VERY pleased. I give it a "9.9"...

I'm not going to pretend that I can articulate what makes this rum so good, it just is. I received this as a birthday gift and lucky me. It's flavorful, smooth, sweet and only a hint of spice. As soon as I started sharing it with friends it went fast. Good stuff. Bottle 684/2000

As given in the title, the rum is magnificent, but the price is brutal. It is a Solera 23+ (35 year total), it matures in cognac-casks. It is extremely smooth, pleasant, but non such a miracle. Definitely there is a lot of aromas to find, if you can afford to test it a bit more ;)

Bottle 65/2000. This was purchased for me by my wife to celebrate our 35th anniversary, so I had to dedicate a special time to open. We had our family over and thought it was a great opportunity to share. I was once a Bacardi snob and thought nothing could be better than PR rum, but then once I tried other brands I realized PR didn't have anything on Barbados and the other islands. Surprisingly this rum is a product of Barbados! It is silky smooth and very enjoyable. Delightful nose, not too sweet, slight fruitiness (cherries?) and very smooth finish. Is is worth $300? Probably not. Due to price I am going to savor every drop of this beautiful bottle and keep it in its display box.

Exceptional. Warm, silky feel and vanilla, almond and spice notes.

It is very mellow and pleasant on tongue, it has subdued dark caramel taste. The best Facundo/Bacardi on sale, shame it comes with a price to match.
