In my view, a rum sip should not hurt, should not be too sweet, and should make your mouth dance! Marque Reserve from Golden Age Spirits represents master craftsmanship and a well thought out blending. You have a body, aroma, viscosity and mouth feel that really pops! The ABV is on point at 45% (90 Proof). The Bourbon Barrel aging is apparent with the smooth, well rounded nose. No, coloring or added sugar makes me very happy! They let the good nature of the distilling and aging process shine! Great job!
Honey, Cinnamon and spices aroma. Flavor notes of sweet cooking spices, honey. Flavor burst up front and and a long sweet finish. I think it's a good blend.
I bought this bottle of Rum for my guests after tasting a whole bunch of other rums. This was the winner for sure. And still have some left over ;-)
Upon first impression, the Bottle is stunning. Not a true rum drinker but a neat tequila connoisseur. The aroma is intoxicating. Smooth, sweet, Carmel finish. Had me at NO SUGAR. Literally 0.00 grams of no sugar. This is a must try to impress any client or friend . New obsession!!!!! As a woman, this is my new go and I challenge you to try anything that is in this league. Newport Beach, California
Very smooth oak barreled rum with an amazing vanilla caramel finish. Well balanced considering itโs bone dry. The subtle notes of island spices and dark fruit melted in my mouth when I drank it on the rocks cognac style. Look forward to sharing it with my family and friends. Two thumb way up!
Yes, this beautiful bottle states it is a Extra Anejo Rum but as soon as you experience Marque you will be blown away by taste of the smoky, ex-bourbon barrel american oak! Absolutely amazing blend, says me and the dozens of friends I have shared with.
I'm a bourbon guy, however a friend introduced me to this rum in May and it is all I have been sipping since. I enjoy sipping it on the rocks. I was surprised by the bourbon similarities. It has a great blend of smells and flavors. There is a smoky oak flavor with vanilla and other spices. I was surprised by the lack of sugar, yet it has just the right sweetness. It has a smooth finish for 90 proof.
You will not be disappointed.
Marque Reserve with itโs strong notes of vanilla & toffee came through before I even took my first sip. As I was drinking the Marque, I loved how smoky and well balanced it was. I thoroughly enjoyed the Marque Reserve On the Rocks or in a Dark & Stormy.
Helps me stay on my keto diet while still tasting smooth and full as if it had sugar, but it doesn't!
It has the taste of smoke derived from the ex bourbon barrels; strong notes of vanilla, caramel, toffee, with a subtle notes of warm spices, and it is surprisingly smooth for a rum with no added sugar. I am a wine drinker, but i will enjoy this rum frequently.
Cheer!

This was a very drinkable rum but did not have enough depth or complexity for me to give it the 9s and 10s that everyone else is.
