Nice, smooth vanilla rum. Probably the sweetest rum I've tried, but very enjoyable. Nice little burn, quite a long aftertaste. A bit simple though, especially compared to some higher end rums.
Edit: I wrote the above review when this was among my first 12 rums or so and my palate was more adjusted to sweet/sugared rums, when I drink it now I find it much too sweet.
For beginners its probably worth to get a bottle, but more seasoned rum drinkers can better get something else.
Very nice rum on the rocks. Very complex flavors with a vanilla finish. Recently had a traditional Mai Tai made with Zaya and it added a whole new dimension to my favorite traditional Tiki. A must try.
Just nice, not boring, takes no connesseur to taste this supa fine rum !
Very good rum. Vanilla Smokey taste, would be a sin to mix this rum, one of my favorite all time rums
It's a pretty good run. Heavy on the vanilla, almost like desert.
I was a disappointed with this tasting after reading a number of reviews. The vanilla caramel aroma was good but the flavor just wasn't right. Could be me being influenced by another really good rum I just sampled.
Beuacoup d'épices présentes dans ce rhum de 12 ans d'age. I est parfait avec un morceau de chocolat noir 80% !
Un très bon rhum doux et parfumé a avoir dans sa collection.
For $28 this may be the best value if you don't mind a really sweet rum. This rum is smooth enough to drink like water. I like it on the rocks with coconut water and lime wedge. Cheers!

If this is the best that your store has, you'll be ok buying this, but there are many much better rums out there. Too much burn and oakiness to realize any other flavors.
