I don't like natural flavors which are not natural, as the industry calls it, but compared to Moregan, it beats it hands down.
Just bought the largest yo can buy and am the second day of it. Can gi through a fifth of Yagaer at 70 proof in less than two days. Wild Turkey 101 is a killer but 98% isn't that much different.
Choose to work tomorrow and am pretty sure I will still feel drunk drinking this late.
Overall, the majority wins. 7/10 is perfect for our dear departed Jerry.
It's not the worst tragedy, maybe you can stand it in some cocktail, however, for the money I'd rather go cheaper and put some Morgan in... nothing special here.
This has to be one of the most disappointing rums I have ever tried. On the nose there is an abundance of sweet vanilla with a hint of spices.
The taste (neat) however does not reward you with anything. Sailor Jerry is supposed to be smooth but bland should be a better expression. The alcohol is predominantly there with a vague hint of vanilla and almost no spices.
With cola does not yield any better result. Your mixer just gets a shot of cheap alcohol with no improvement in taste.
There are way better rums for a bit more money, like El Dorado 5 years.
Good, strong rum for when you want a little more oomph in your drink. Stringer taste than Kraken, and I really don't get any hint of the cherry that's supposed to be in there, but still better than Capt Morgan's
If mixing spiced rum with coke or ginger beer is your thing, you can't really go wrong with Sailor Jerry.
An easy mixer. Ok for that. Not a sipping drink for me though.
I bought this because it was cheap as chips and was taken by how well the spice flavoured the rum and was very happy with my purchase
I note the price has trebbled since i bought mine lol
It's very strong, I think its 46%? Very good stuff however, it's my favourite spiced rum! It has a vanilla-y taste to it. I don't think it goes all too good with coke, but I enjoy this with Sprite and it sits so well! Incredibly both smooth and bold.
Was surprised - expected to be like Catain Morgan, but it is different and it is much better! Good with mixers and straight on the rocks
I set the captain aside. This is a much better choice. Full flavor that mixes very well withour losing the rum.

The rum smells very sweet.
"It is initially very sweet on the tip of the tongue but it soon becomes very bitter."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Blind tasted and was quite pleased with it.
Fragrand nose of sweet spices, vanilla and butter. No alcool aromas.
The mouth shows vanila flavours too with a burnt smokey finish. Very linear in style and can be quite boring after 2 glasses but good value for money.
Get a glass on the rocks and then move to cocktails.
