The recipe was recently changed, and made slightly less sweet, but spicier.

It's an ok spiced rum. Vainilla, a little nutmeg, not too sweet, and a bit harsh for my taste. An ok option for mixer and for cooking.

A fine rum that doesn’t stand out in either aroma or character. Good in mixtures

Want a cheap rum to drink at a party. This is the one. It’s nice , smoothly and easy to drink. However if you’re into drinking high quality, sophisticated rum this is not of interest.

But even still, sub-par. Heavy medicinal-like smell, acceptable taste, you can make an effort to drink it neat, but why not mix it with cola? It's not terrible, but there is clearly room for improvement.

This is a nice option for making a Dark and Stormy.

Ever since I started drinking rum I wanted to taste this and I finally got my hands on a bottle. Definitely not disappointed. Smooth enough to sip, downed a whole bottle in a week with the aid of some coke on the side. What I love about this rum is its simplicity. Nothing fancy. It is a very honest rum with a brilliant label design and history. Not too sweet, not too spiced. Perfect for every occasion. 17 euros. Just right.

Na een mindere rum smaakt deze best lekker, maar terugdenkend aan vorige rums toch een 6 gegeven. Gemixt met cola eerst iets te weinig er in gedaan, vandaar de "soft". De tweede van deze rumproef- en spelletjesavond met Mirjam en aanhang.
