Havana Club 15-Year

I waited a long time to get my hands on this rum(thanks big Bill!!).
This did not disappoint; except maybe the price which was 160 American and that's like 5000 Canadian these days.
This one sort of reminds me of Diplomatico Exclusive Reserva in that there is a lot going on in there. It has a nice bold tobacco-like dry taste with a great black current nose.
It is as smooth as anything and goes great with a Cohiba Madura.

Good solid rum with fruity tannin taste.
But also lives from its name. Even in Havana about 150$ now.
I give it a lower rating as I gave the Barrel Proof as it is three times more expensive but not three times better.

Esto es un ron. Es muy suave. Al tragar no raspa. En el sabor encontramos muchas cosas agradables. No es ni seco ni dulce. Yo lo he acompañado con un puro Cuaba. Que combinación.

No hay nada como un 15 años con un buen habano partagas en la tarde en la playa del Este de notas de frutos secos un auténtico espectáculo

I really enjoy that bottle. Great full flavor, very smooth, just at right level of sweetness. So easy to sip that I finished bottle sooner than I would like :). For me is 9.5

Really good and I can not say anything bad on this one, however I can not say anything extra positive... worth trying, you have to know this taste to objectively compare with other rums. Overpriced in my opinion.

some say it's the best rum of the world. I doubt it, but yes, it's a great rum!

Great on ice. Nice full body and great tones. Would not waste with a mixer. Expensive.
