Bacardi Carta Blanca

I have never tried white rum because of what i've read about the flavor or the lack of it. i got this one only because it was on sale, and I got it for cocktails. Works fine for cocktails, not great for sipping alone. Nothing surprising here

I won't give it a second one. Bacardi lost the recipe on this one and gave us whatever they could concoct. Skip.

Drinkable for the price it is sold. The proposal is interesting.

I do enjoy it whenever there are no other options but nothing special just dont drink it plain because its not nice..

While Bacardi is a symbol of a cocktail rum, the Carta Blanca is a disaster. Smells like pure vodka and got nothing but silent echo of what even a cheap rum should be.

I managed to mistake bottles during a party and throw myself a coke with vodka cocktail, instead of rum. It turned out the taste was indistinguishable. What a waste of a brand. And money - as Carta Blanca isn't that cheap.

This is only good for lighting fires and mixing with cola

It's a really good thing I got this in a small bottle because drinking this one is a test of will. The flavor is nothing but alcohol, and it's pretty nasty from the initial smell to the lingering taste after it goes down. I thought Bacardi Superior was already their entry-level white rum, but Bacardi Carta Blanca goes even further to be a true green-top rum. I don't know the reasoning for undercutting their bottom-shelf offering, but with this poison on the market, the average consumer must play a game of Russian roulette whenever they inattentively buy cheap Bacardi white.
