Une très belle découverte... un de mes préférés...

So much to enjoy. Bold, rich and spicy but oh such a smooth sipper. Truly enjoyed the experience. Definitely top shelf and for special occasions.

This has a nice spiciness to it but is a little sweet for my taste.

Beautiful, round, fruity, with a hint of vanilla and toffy.

Great rum with tastes of fruit, wood, caramel and also coffee.
Smooth long lasting taste.
Add some ice to enrich the flavours.

it´s empty now, the bottle with the rum of 2000. now i tried the following bottle. its nearly the same, but nearly. in the end, the 2000 is more than the 2001. but this is crying at a high level.

2000 version is flawless rum!!!!!

You can really tell this is an aged rum by the different flavors that come out over the finish. The nose starts almost like a sweet wine, but a sip proves not as thick as expected. Taste starts a little too spicy for my preference, but turns sweet and nice about half way though the finish. I don't like it enough to buy a bottle, but I certainly wouldn't turn down a double once and a while just for the unique flavoring.
