Relative newbie to Rums and still discovering what I like and if my palate deserves spending big bucks. If you are in Christchurch, New Zealand you have to go to Casa Republica. They have  hundreds of rums and do rum flights. 3 rums with a glass of ice cubes and a small bottle of ginger ale or coke. $20 per flight. I wine for my birthday dinner and was in heaven. The matusalem 10 year old was my favourite but I didn't do the premium flight as I felt my palate was wrecked and I was a bit tipsy by then so I'll start with that next time.
