Being really enjoying rum for over 25 years. Still trying to understand why I like certain rums. Started with Captain Morgan spiced as my go-to but have since moved to Captain Morgan Blacked Spiced (convinced my local bar to carry it). Love the Captain Morgan Reserve at home. Liking the OVD and Lamb's Navy Rum, which I got to try overseas. My favorite so far is Appleton Estate aged 21 years. Still learning about all the nuances of the different rums. Normally drink my rum straight up or with club soda, never mixed except for the occasional Ginger Beer. I want to taste the rum.
