My absolute favorite Love it neat. But that isn't an option to choose below...

Appleton Estate Limited Edition 30-year

Pretty great Not sure if it's worth the $, but definitely solid.

Appleton Estate 21-year

Really solid Best value for the money IMO.

Blackwell Black Gold Special Reserve

Pretty solid, crisp but not overly harsh Can work as a sipping rum

Mount Gay XO Extra Old

Works as a sipping rum or mixed (cheap enough to not feel bad mixing it...)

Cartavio Solera 1929

Good, but a bit harsher than most Soleras I've tried. .

Great mixer. Smooth and easy.

Appleton Estate Reserve

Not bad Pretty standard Appleton - not bad, but nothing to scream about.

Appleton Estate Extra 12-year

Decent Not a bad one, obviously the older ones are a bit tastier.

Bacardi Superior

Great mixer. Gets the job done.

The Dominican version of Bacardi Superior Clean and crisp.

Gosling's Black Seal

Decent, harsh but good. Good as a Rum + Coke mixer.

Appleton Estate V/X

Decent Easily consumable in a bind says it all.

Appleton Estate Special Gold

Cheap and decent Great to mix. Good beach drink.

Be prepared... Good considering the alcohol content.

Captain Morgan Spiced

Classic spiced. I'm not a fan of the spiced rum, but it's definitely not bad.

Myers's Original Dark

Not bad, not amazing either. A bit harsh, not quite as good a flavor as an Appleton 8.

Smith and Cross Traditional Jamaica Navy Strength

Not a fan. Almost feels like this has a tequila-like taste to it -- might just not be for me.
