This rum agricole of Dillon is absolutely sociable, gentle, soft with great fruity flavors, he is totally round and was for me to enter the agricole world an absolute highlight. In addition, this rum has an absolutely outstanding price / performance ratio.
39€ costs a 0.7L bottle in Germany.

Un rhum très agréable à boire et à un prix abordable vu sa qualité. Je le recommande : très bon rapport qualité / prix.

Nose: synthetic, tobacco, prunes, ripe pears. The intensity and distant sharpness prevent you from enjoying it. Palate: sweet, fruity with sourness, tartness, cherry, a little bourbon, a lot of barrels, cloying, although dry. A little irritating to the throat, like perfume. These heavy substances don't give a rating of 9/10. .,.,.,. Очень богатый вкус, позитивное настроение, запоминающийся. Однако избыточность масел переходит в приторность и ощущение парфюма, несколько поперёк горла и задерживающийся шум наутро. Несомненные 8,5 баллов.

Bought two bottles of this in France, while driving down to Spain.
It has replaced the “XO Hors d’Age Grenadier” which is still to be found even if it’s getting tougher and tougher to find it.
This one is aged for at least 9 years while the precursor “The Grenadier” was aged for at least 10 years.
It was sold at sales at the supermarket together with two Dillon glasses for just 26€. The ordinary price is between 40€ and 55€, without glasses.
It’s very aromatic and complex and you can recognize wood, vanilla, fruit and cinnamon.
It’s a great Rhum, but I don’t think it reaches the level of the precursor, the Grenadier.

Nose is almondy, taste is like a rougher AH Riise but finish is a bitter burn which takes off a point

Яркий агриколь, достаточно сухой. Ожидал немного большего от него.

I bought this rhum in French supermarket following a promotion offer. I was quite doubtful considering the xo age and the more than affordable price. It is a very good surprise, it is very tasteful with a woody note. Nevertheless I think that the reference of this rum is erroneous, there is no mentioned of a specific aging on the bottle (9 according to title), this bottle is intended to be marketed in supermarket only. I bought elsewhere the bottles xo 7years and 12years and I can tell you that the price is not the same! I will share feedbacks on these 2 bottes once I will drink them.

This rum is truly amazing.
Really, one of the best Agricole i have ever test. Perfect for sipping. Round and harmonious.
This XO Dillon rum has aged in small oak barrels for a minimum of nine years.

Nose and mouth: You can smell vanilla, cinnamon, candied fruit and woody notes.
highly recommended for a 28€ bottle.
