Nicht ganz die selbe Abfüllung, diese wurde mit 60.7% abgefüllt, Jahr und Alter sind das Selbe.
Im Glas glänzendes Bernstein.
In der Nase nur wow. Ein Spaziergang durch den Wald in dem eben noch Holz verarbeitet wurde, frisch gesägt und gehobelt und mit Karamell belegt. Einige getrocknete und auch frische Kräuter kleben auch noch daran, ein Nebel von Kakao schwebt darüber.
Am Gaumen mundfüllend und warm. Die Geschmacksknospen nehmen die Fassstärke gelassen hin. Geschmeidig fliessen die Aromen von Schokolade, Karamell, Tabak, Leder und Holz über die Zunge, Früchte sind kaum auszumachen.
Im Abgang bleiben Schokolade und Karamell lange auf der Zunge.
Ein Super Rum der Seinesgleichen sucht und den typischen Panama Styl zeigt. Für Panama Liebhaber, Cask Strength Fans und Geniesser. 9+

In the glass shiny amber.
In the nose just wow. A walk through the forest in which just processed wood, freshly sawed and planed and topped with caramel. Some dried and also fresh herbs stick to it as well, a mist of cocoa hovering over it.
Mouth-filling and warm on the palate. The taste buds take the barrel strength in stride. The flavors of chocolate, caramel, tobacco, leather and wood flow smoothly over the tongue, fruits are barely discernible.
In the finish, chocolate and caramel remain long on the tongue.
A super rum that is unparalleled and shows the typical Panama style. For Panama lovers, Cask Strength fans and connoisseurs. 9+

Spur of the moment purchase. At 95 Euros , not my best guess. If you like scotch and also rum, you might like it. I personally don't like scotch, so the peaty flavour is, meh. Pretty smooth for 51% and a little drier than I like.
