Smooth rum that mixes well with juice or cola. Price point is good for a mixing rum.
Complex array of different notes going on here. From butterscotch to vanilla to cocoa. Dried fruit, tea, oak, tobacco and sandlewood. Does have some alcohol burn in the back of the throats which is fine in my book.
I like sipping this neat but mixed and this rum will hold its own as well.
Au nez, on sent la cerise noire. Il est doux et au gout, on perçoit la vanille et la cerise. Il est différent de tous ce que j'ai déjà goûté. Ce n' est pas dans mes favoris, Il me fait penser au Dzama.
Little bit harsh and artificial taste. Not good as a sipper, maybe with a coke...
I bought this bottle because I thought it might be interesting to taste a Filipino rum. Definitely over overpriced for what I paid, and it had an aftertaste when I drank it neat. I added ice and figured that it might taste different on the rocks. Still nasty aftertaste. I then try to mix it with Coca Cola and you can still taste that after taste. Maybe something heavier like daquiri mix might cover the taste. Not very good. I was shocked to see it sold at the Barclays Center, especially when there are so many other rums that you could get in the New York City area.
Hij ruikt naar spiritus, maar het drinken ging best wel
De derde rum van de avond met spelletjes, met cola een ok mix. Reuk is wat sterk, maar gemixt is het niet verkeerd.
Taduay, the favorite rum of the local Filipino. Tasted the filipino variant on the spot and it was not ok. When I heard they were going to expand to Europe and upgrade the rum I bought this bottle. Pleasantly surprised by the warm aftertaste and the beautiful bottle in a tube.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

I had read about the Tanduay brand online and thought it interesting. Surprisingly I found it in a liquor store in tiny Eastpoint, Florida so I got a bottle. It is definitely not like the Caribbean rums that I am learning more about. Its flavor is heavy on a caramel and has a strong burn. Could be used for some neat or on the rock but works better for me in sweet mixed drinks. A bit off in flavor for my personal tastes.
