Tasted as part of Kill Devil Rum Club Tattersall tasting at Laka Lono 1/23/20
Clear rum, with a smoky hazy finish.
"I like this."

Tasted at Laka Lono on 1/23/20. Pours clear (not black). Earthy aroma. No sulfur or smokiness at all. I'm not sure how to characterize this other than warn you that it does not have any of the blackstrap character sought for making tiki drinks such as the Jungle Bird. Somewhat medium palate, no nasty burn of many craft rums. Little or no sweetness. An odd duck with a misnomer.
