This rum is a pale, almost green rum that is quite dry, as are all of thrasher rums. This suits this green spiced rum well, which is aimed at making a rum to mix instead of gin. I loved the spiced flavors in this, lemongrass and lemon verbena definitely present. The spices work well with the dryness, and I think this would mix well (maybe a rum and coconut water).
On paper this sounds good. Basically a mix between a rum and gin. Has all sorts of herbaceous goodness in it, but it’s ultimately kind of disappointing. Most of the herb flavor isn’t that prevalent and it’s definitely not that smooth. A few drops of water certainly open up the flavors a bit and make it go down easier, but that’s not usually a good sign for me. Certainly is drier though and a departure from your typical sweeter rums, so it at least has that going for it.

Well executed twist 7 out of 10
I'm a bit biased because I love both rum and gin, but I thought this was pretty good at what it was trying to do. I wonder how it would work when subbed in for an agricole.
