Tasted at the Distillery tour on 5/23/23. Pours a dark gold to amber color. A serious bolus of pie spices gets the nose. This has an intense cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg burn. These spices are over the top, so if you are a more is more person, this is the rum for you. While I'm neither a fan of spiced rum or rum and coke, this ought to partner well. Strong stuff. Robust.

This is an honest-to-god spiced rum in the vein of Martin Cate's custom spiced rum served at Smuggler's Cove. Strong notes of clove, cinnamon, and citrus oil—very "Christmas-y." At risk of sounding snobby, it definitely elevates rum & coke to a drink that can stand alongside more serious cocktails.

The aroma on this is great, and follows in to the taste, with cloves and other baking spices present. A dry rum which has the appearance of sweetness without being sweet or cloying.

It smells good and Christmasy, but not the smoothest thing I’ve ever had.
