Enjoyed a bottle of Cacique Guaro while vacationing in Costa Rica. Easily available at any grocery stores at $9 a bottle. Boring bottle and label design. Pure alcohol to the nose and palate, but this white rum is super sweet when neat sipped due to sugarcane production method. Quite a burn at the end, so better mix it with your favorite soda. Bottle states Hecho en Costa Rica, so this rum is not the Venezuelan Cacique, which is in a class of its own.

Its a nice rum, its not comun to find it in Mexico, because Its a typical drink from Costa Rica.
