This is a very particular rum in that there's context that goes around it (similar to rating an agricole - you need the context of what they're trying to do). In this case there is a long tradition in island nations to knock a coconut down and put rum directly into it to consume with a straw or to take coconut water ice cubes to put into your rum. This rum basically cuts the corner of having to do that and does it for you but without tasting artificial. The nose is just a tad coconut you can barely notice it, the taste is definitely 8+ year aged rum, the finish burns like a 3 year old rum, think abuelo 12. Definitely worth it whenever you have a Miami mind-set or are watching Scarface.

This is a unique take on “infused” flavor in rum. Rather than bleeding, soaking or mixing to give it flavor, they cut the rum with coconut water. It’s incredibly smooth and even refreshing!

Out of about 18 coconut rums I've tried (as of this review), I'd put this in my top 3!

It's not as sweet as many coconut rums, but it has a very nice flavor.

Smells and tastes of coconut, sugar cane, and oak, with a hint of vanilla.

I find it to be a very enjoyable coconut rum!

As an Aged Rum and Coconut Water drinker, this is my new favorite. It is smooth, with a hint of coconut and tropical flavors. Love their story and how they cut the rum with coconut water infusing the flavor naturally to elevate the quality of the rum. A winner in my eyes and taste buds!

This is good. Mixing the rum with coconut water gives it a much more authentic taste that those ridiculously artificial coconut rums like Bacardi. There isn't much else to this. A little punch, no complexity, no finish. Just good pineapple taste. Would make a nice mixer.

Coconut usually means over-sweetened, syrupy, fake mixing rum, but this tastes like straight-up un-candied coconut. The natural sweetness is a plus, but it’s not my thing. Would prefer a much more traditional rum.

This is a really good sipping rum, with the addition of coconut water. I tried batch 3, which had a nice combination of sweetness and a bit a salinity from the coconut water, but it isn't over powering, and the flavors come through on the finish. It is really refreshing and I could see drinking this on a summer's day.

Neat, this brings salty seawater. Add a cube of ice and you'll get the flavor of the coconut water, as well as a hint of banana pudding. A nice summertime sipper.

This rum is great with anything!!!
As a sipper goes down smooth with a few drops of water even better. A rum old fashion its incredible since its made with coconut water (the rum). Did a tasting and its was a hit!!

Tasted a sample of Batch #3 and was pretty impressed. Coconut water is used to let down cask strength rum, which yields a more viscous mouth feel without very much coconut flavor. This is not like other artificially flavored rums. Subtle sweetness and a nice long finish.
