This is decent rum. Weirdly, I don't get much on the nose beyond very light cream and caramel, hint of fruitiness, but still very light. This is strange since it's aged 3 years (description above says 3-12 months but person at distillery said it ended up being 3-4 years. Flavor flows almost completely at the back with a lot of spice and woody notes, but again lighter than I'd expect a lightly aged rum to have. Finish is very floral, almost verging on minty finish. I know this is a different method of distillation, including molasses as close to colonial period molasses as they could get. It's very different from other rums but I can't say whether I really like it or not.
