St. Aubin Vanilla

Nice strong taste of rum with hut of vanilla. The smell is absolutely amazing. Love vanilla flavoured rums and this one was my first. Love a combination of high voltage and sweet aftertaste of vanilla

Tried the St Aubin Vanilla Agricole Rhum on a rainy day. Bottle looks cheap and it has a twist cork. Color is very inviting deep mahogany. Smell test reveals a strong soap. Taste is mild vanilla with traditional Agricole Rhum flavors. After taste is a very long lingering of vanilla taste in your mouth and throat.

The first time, I tried this, I didn't think that the vanilla taste was overly strong. Maybe it was that batch, I don't know. Second time I tried it, I thought the vanilla was much stronger - not as much as Old J or Rolling Calf, but still pretty strong. You can also taste the rum through it. So, there are lots of spiced rums with more heavily-laden vanilla but this is a vanilla-flavoured rum rather than a spiced. Furthermore, it's proper vanilla, not chemical vanilla. You can even see a residue of it at the bottom of the bottle.
It's not bad! Very sippable and recommended if you have just a bit of a sweet tooth, but I am lowering my mark from 7 to 6 after that 2nd experience with it.

Jó minőségű agricole rum alap szinte keserűbe hajló erős vaníliaízzel. Nem rossz, de szeretni kell hozzá a vaníliát, nem is kicsit. Legalábbis jobban mint amennyire én szeretem.

Ce rhum agricole distillé en colonne est subtilement parfumé à la vanille (produite sur place). Rare rhum vanille que j'apprécie !

Un rhum à boire pure sans glace avec un bon goût vanillé peu prononcé.

Si vous avez l'occasion de goûter ce breuvage, je vous recommande la dégustation. Goût de vanille très naturel, pas trop de sucre...
