Enjoyed a lot will buy again if the price is right. Edit many rum(s) later. Unlikely to buy a spiced rum again.

Very sweet on the nose. Quite easy on the way down strong vanilla flavour with notes of pepper apricot ginger and orange.personally I found that every sip was different and the taste was quite varied from strong vanilla to strong pepperery ginger nice enough

Fantastic spiced rum, was very surprised when tasting this offering from Bundaberg. Makes a great Dark & Stormy and even holds its own when sipped over ice.

A bottle of heaven. First tried this fine rum over crushed ice and will not spoil it by mixing with anything else.
The Small Batch Spiced is very smooth with a hint of caramel and oak.
I won’t be sharing this one too often.

Last year I got a bottle of the non spiced small batch from Bundaberg. It was a good mixer, but far too expensive for a mixer, to harsh and strong to drink neat for me. But for Christmas I got a present from my sister in law from Australia, the new spiced version. After being dissapointed of the previous one I directly proceeded to mix it with coke and after the first second it hit my mouth I was like wooooooooooooow, unbelieveble. The taste, the smell, everything was so fruity, so mild, so sweet, so perfect. Could not end up that drink and wait to try to sip it, and again wooooow. Second rum of over 50 I give a 10 (the other is El Dorado 15). I was never into spiced rums, they either taste chemical or the spice was not fruity, but this one doesn't taste artifitial to me, it is so mild (ok probably sweetened to make it that mild but the end result is the one that counts for me) and so powerful in flavour with barely no alcohol presence. My only problem is how to get another bottle in Europe, don't know when my sister in law will return again from Australia with another one but seriously looking forward to that moment.
