Now I think I would be the first to say that especially neat this Rum isn’t for everyone. It has burn (probably especially because of the ABV), however the flavour is bold and has a fantastic depth that otherwise I would only expect from much more expensive rums. In my opinion there is a great sweet spot of dilution where this rum really shines on the rocks and some mixes do better with this than more run off the mill rums. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Sorry, you're all wrong about this. It's not "funky" or "firey", it's disgusting. This ruined every cocktail I tried to put it in. Nearly puked trying to sip it. Only rum I've ever poured down the sink. Would give it a 0/10 if I could. Good riddance.

This rum burns too much for me to sip it, even after it goes down it burns but not in a good way.

Full bodied, rich, inviting to an exlporative tasting. But also perfect to enjoy straight up, partywise, with a company of good friends. I absolutely adore it's complexity, naturalness, and longlasting finish. Great in any conditions. In winters it brings back holiday aromas and vibe. In the summer it enhances the experience. High abv is a treat, not a niusance. Great sipper and even better with mixers like coke or ginger ale, not to mention proper rum based cocktails. Take it for a spin in Queen's Park Swizzle, Nuclear Daiquiri, Corn'n'Oil, Dark and Stormy.

Has characteristics of a peaty Scotch, not nearly as strong as Foursquare single barrel. Ver complex, so keeping this in my rotation.

Ripe Banana and glances of vanilla in the beginning but you can also find: Spice, orange, dark tea, molasses sugar, this is real good Rum ! Definitely not for beginners

Banana, cedar, and dried dark fruit bum-rush the palate.
Toffee, pepper and a bit of salt on the finish.

Nothing extreme but a standout, not my favourite but it's a must try the funk and weight is above the rest, you can tell it's classically Jamaican and yet so different just from the smell.

“TIGHT! …TIGHT TIGHT!” as one Tuco Salamanca from Breaking Bad would say. Blows the barn doors right down. Bold. Nice banana esthers. Funky. Little bit of caramel, some vanilla. Tropical fruits. Boosh man, this a rum for almost any occasion for me. Just remember to take a breath mint after, you’re gonna smell boozy hahaha. Great for sipping, great in particular for cocktails. Just a wonderful little bad boy.
