A very good rum. Not so sweet and a bit more sharpe.

Nice aroma, almost like a spiced rum.
First taste is sweeter followed by alcohol burning. Aftertaste is longer with nice caramel and cinnamon tones.

Description from Takamaka web site:

We are excited to branch out and work on our new Creole Craft Series of limited edition aged Rums. Recently we released our first ever Creole Craft Series rum that was hand-picked especially for the 35th Anniversary of Dubai Duty free. We crafted & selected just one single barrel expression that we left to age in a special Port Cask.

Limited to only 350 bottles, the Creole Craft Series is extra special in that each batch produced is a one-of-a-kind barrel expression, after aging it is released and bottled at 53.6% ABV. The labelling & waxing is done by hand and each bottle is individually numbered and signed off by our head distiller David Boulle.

It is also our unique tropical aging environment that contributes to the distinct flavours we create and finishes the rum perfectly.
