This is the second outstanding rum I have tried from this New England distillery. This one is a single cask #80. The nose is decadent, gripping and pulls you in. Perfect balance. Great vanilla, oak and spice with pineapple and vanilla notes deep in the background. Strong but silky smooth. Good finish. Just an awesome rum. No sweeteners added. This is not a sweet rum. No filtering. No blending. This is a craft distillation and it tastes like it. OUTSTANDING! Especially for a 4 year old.

Strong nose of alcohol with burn, over burn on taste but nice berry taste, finish is a bit harsh. This is good but just splurge for the queens share to get a smoother rum

Banana and almost like a cotton candy on the nose. Very pleasant. But misleading, because the rum itself is not sweet at all. It's almost dry. Quite oaky. Some almond taste. Some dried fruit. Only medium alcohol, which is impressive for a 50 abv. A little on the pricey side, but worth a try because of its uniqueness. Decent neat, great on the rocks, fantastic as a high-quality mixer. I'd like to give it an 8, but can't because I think of other rums at 8 and it doesn't match up. So a highly recommendable 7 it is.

Wow this rum was a big surprise. It was a birthday gift from my wife and it was surprisingly smooth with a little oakiness, vanilla and spice. The nose is decadent, gripping and pulls you in. Perfect balance deep in the background. Strong but silky smooth. Good finish. Just an awesome rum. This is not a sweet rum. No filtering. No blending. This is a craft distillation and it tastes like it. OUTSTANDING! Especially for a 4 year. A little strong at 100 proof so enjoy responsibly... it kicks
